An update from St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho: COVID-19 precautions

The St. Vincent de Paul HELP Center is open for business.  However, we have implemented a mitigation plan aimed at reducing the spread of illness while ensuring our ability to continue providing services.

In an effort to actively screen all individuals who enter the building, access to the HELP Center will be systematic and restricted to only clients seeking services.  We are also expanding tele-outreach and telecommuting efforts where applicable.  The health and safety of our employees and those we service is our top priority.

As an organization, we’re closely monitoring development of the Coronavirus outbreak and its impact to our programs.  We take our role as an essential service provider of basic needs seriously and want to take appropriate and necessary preventative measures to minimize the risk and spread of illness and in accordance with recommendations coming from the Center for Disease Control.  We are also in close communication with our partners at the Panhandle Health District and Heritage Health as to precautionary procedures and response protocols.

The spread of the COVID-19 virus is a dynamic and rapidly evolving situation, as is our response plan.  We will remain vigilant.
